In 2023, Notre Dame men's basketball head coach Mike Brey announced his resignation, which signaled the first coaching change within the program in 23 years. In March, the program announced that Micah Shrewsberry accepted the position and would lead the program.

The hiring happened quickly; within a few days of Shrewsberry accepting the position, I began work on the social media announcement suite, marketing assets, and introductory press conference art direction.

The social media suite incorporates "jersey swap" images of Shrewsberry on the Notre Dame sidelines to excite the fanbase for the new era. It also incorporates elements taken directly from the Purcell Pavilion court and Notre Dame campus to tell the story in a unique Notre Dame way.

The introductory press conference involved designing videoboard graphics, corner board graphics, ring graphics, and background screen graphics for his Q&A and remarks. The videoboard and corners carried over the social look to carry over the same sense of excitement as the social graphics. The background screens were simple blue with gold Notre Dame monograms and the same pattern used in the social assets. This was done to avoid distractions both in-venue and on the broadcast and draw full attention to Coach Shrewsberry and his message.
